Changing the Fabia vRS dogbone mount

Featured Replies

Ah sorry, sort of confused what I've written there.

You sure about using the powerflex bush on the console? I would have assumed that it would wear faster than the cupra one.

This is why you don't fit the Cupra console bush

Yes, the Powerflex might wear out faster than the SuperPro version (which is the same design principal), but it is the easiest to install....if you don't mind removing the console units and have a press, then fit the SuperPro Console bushes!!!! B)

But some people are saying there's little or no extra noise and some are saying it's excessive.

I don't mind uninstalling stuff and getting bushings pressed. I'd rather do it right and not have to fit new ones the whole time.

Right then.....just get a whole SuperPro kit B) and do the lot!!! ARB bush, rear engine mount (get 70shore),console, front wishbone front bush, rear beam axle pivot bush. B)

Look at the price of those buggers......... bloody hell.

I'll try and sort out what's needed first at the weekend. ARB bushes are new and rear beam bushes appear to be fine so I just need to check the others.

The full kit for just under £200 dosn't even include the bush for the lower engine (rear) mount...another £45ish !!! :(
