Rear 28mm Arb??????????

Featured Replies

Ive been reading a few posts about the rear 28mm arb, now ive been looking into doing something with the handling now on my vrs, i got a few prices for new kw3s but its a bit much for me really someone mentioned the rear 28mm arb on a standard vrs set up will this make a difference on its own on the car please,as allways cheers for the help guys.:)

I have the 28mm Neuspeed adjustable rear ARB on mine, and yes, you will really notice a difference on yours with just that item fitted.

Really tightens up the rear end, and stops body roll.

If KW3's are too dear then try the KW1's

Go fo it

or the Tein kits have a good write up and they are made by KW if im not mistaken

Tein is mainly Jap cars

The Wietec ones I think you are thinking about , and yes made by KW

Sarah

Don't hesitate, the rear anti-roll bar is by far away one of the best mods you can do on the Octavia.

Well worth it, as Gerry said, really tightens up the handling of the car

Forget coilovers...

Get the arb's

My RS drives better on arb's (front and Rear) than my 4x4 on kw2's.

not hard as the 2's are not great for road (ok on track though) but the extra taughtness (oed word?) really keeps the wheels flatter and improves cornering, really improves cornering (twice).

since fitting FSD's I've kept the std springs the RS rocks handling wise, although it's quite a interesting ride, it's far nicer than bump stop coilovers under the perception they are better...I don't think thay are for the money...

don't get me wrng if I found a grand under the bed and SWMBO didn't know about it, I'd have put coilovers on in place of the fsd, but each iteration takes it away from road to track...

Potholes become a problem for dentures!

Bring insurance and a new battery you can have the keys :) maybe I should lend it to Sarah :D
