I've heard mention of using Simoniz Teflon upholstery and carpet care kit to protect the light grey fabric of the Fabia Vrs seats. But haven't been able to find it anywhere. :confused:

Has anyone on here managed to find it? If so where did you buy it from?

I'm sure I bought it from Halfords ?

It can be purchased from Halfords so I have been informed. Must get some for myself. My seats are starting to get a bit grubby, so best clean them up and use some teflon.

i got mine from a1 motostores, i dont know if you have them down south, but try your local accessory shop, costs

bought some on saturday from halfords after all the good reports on here.

looks like i will be going back for another box because all i managed to do was the back seats and rear carpet of my octavia .perhaps i might invest in some bigger front mats too.any suggestions ?

costs the same as the other places, its not easy to find on the site though, you have to click on the sad looking saxo light cluster from the home page, then click on the special offers area and then look out for simoniz teflon cleaner as you scroll down on the left hand side.

i only bought 1 pack and theres quite a bit left, i did the carpet in the front under tha mats, the bits of unprotected carpet in the rear and the mesh parts of all the seats !

Maybe mine wasnt as dirty as some might be or i didnt use enough, but it seems to have done the trick.

you will need them, it took 3 bottles to do my furby vrs as the seats require 2 coats, also you need to do it on a day which you dont need the car as the seats take ages to dry, well worth it though as it works well

i think theres a note about applications on the bottle but i wouldnt have thought you'd need to keep applying it like every month, say once a quarter or less.

Thinking about it, i suppose it depends on you... how dirty you think the seats are / getting, and when you want to clean them.

i noticed that to when i needed to order an extra set and i couldnt click on it, it worked ok the week before, maybe they have run out, i purchased my other 2 packs from a1 motostores, there website is http://www.a1motorstores.co.uk

I will see if one of the B&Qs that had a some of it in the other month still has some left for those without any luck.

It is a discontinued product (B&Q reduced the price) but why not contact Holts UK distributor and ask why not continue making the Teflon range, or even find out if there's a new equivilent product coming on the market. Halfords have a new looking range of Simoniz products on their shelves now.

I've got two boxes of the stuff from my Teflon clearout of the local B&Q last night available for 20 quid delivered, send me a PM if you want them (I've found you need to use two of the interior protectors to do the Fabia).

Update - now gone, will let you know in this thread if I find any more or the others don't want theirs.
