1999 octavia slx tdi estate, 181,000 and still going strong! Had few new parts in the last year. Alternator, starter, battery, clutch, and a few bushes and one wheel bearing. Been a good motor, but shes now getting harder to start when warm, not really too sure on the problem, have replaced the coolant temp sensor and starter and had the plug relay checked as said in a few threads on here but still same. Any advice would be great.

thank god it wasn't 118118 - those two guys in running gear would probabley have turned up

when i bought my 2002/52 vRS in 2005 it was 2 months shy of it's 3rd birthday and on 106k i sold it to my sister on 113k after 6months and have just bought it back off her and she's just clicked over 130k.

off to switzerland on wed so another 1800 miles will be done in the next week.

just got a 51 plate vrs octavia on 132,000 miles for 1700 im praying i get some use out of it

I slot in at 58 with my Octavia vRS, having 100k service tomorrow. Just replaced front arms, ball joints and the rear wheel bearings, front bearings need doing too :( . Also the dampers feel a little past there best.
