A bit nippy, but caution is suggested in the wet (understatment ). Overtaking on A roads is effortless and you need such short straights it's untrue, though you have to remind yourself not to overtake in the face of on coming traffic even though you know it isn't a risk. Think what the poor bar-steward coming the other way has going though his mine: "I'm going to be totalled by a Skoda"

I have finally received the 02M 6 speed LSD, but for now I am trialling the gearbox, I didn't want to strip the box and fit the diff if it turned out to be a pile of man mud! Now I know it's good I’ll see about getting it stripped and fitted with it in the next few months.

was your 175mph run bouncing off the limiter? if not then it won't pull any faster with that 6 speed if anything it won't go as fast as it will have less leverage to put its power down.

not sure i see the point in the diesel box myself if sixth won't pull below 80mph and the 5 speed box would take you to 170mph+

Sounds like a similar setup to the Lotus Carlton which could only achieve it's top speed in 5th, with 6th been purely a cruising gear.

Yeah, I think it will be more of an overdrive gear for high speed cruising, 5th is still an awesome gear for high speed, it's just that you can sit at 150mph at really low rpm's....
