The way Rossi caught Stoner from so far back, I'd suggest he simply outrode him.

Fuel issue or not, my money would still have been on Mr R. With about 10 laps to go it seemed more a matter of when Rossi would pass, rather than if he'd pass.

IMO Vale needs to work on his starts; that was what put him so far back yesterday (end of lap 1) in the first place.
