Any Trouble With The VRS

Featured Replies

Still not sure what to get either the 1.9TDI or the VRS. I am a bit concerned that if I am in a flashy sports car I might get attacked while driving and my car being stolen. Silly I know but these things happen.

Then surely buy a Fabia vRS

Fabia vRS a sports car? 'Fraid not. You hear those kinda stories about Imprezas, and the like. The vRS really isn't in that league.

:)

its a chuffin skoda, heated rear window to warm ones hands when pushing, convertable ones double up as skips and you double the value by filling it up with fuel, now if you were on about a 2.0l petrol well that would be a different story, but come on its no ferrari:D

It has an antihijack feature, so thats one bonus.

Dont let that stop you buying the vRS is could happen to anyone in any car.

hell, I drive a sports car ?!

I feel good!

Lol this is why I'm getting a vRS

Quicker than pretty much anything else in its insurance group but no-one is gonna hijack a bloody skoda

I'm really pleased with my vRS, couldn't ask anything more from it really. However, a Flashy sports car it it not!

I reckon there's a zero chance that some little toss pot will want to nick a Skoda. It's the middle classes that love the badge. Something about VFM.........................

There have been some horror stories on here, but again it could happen to anyone in any car.

Just lock your doors when driving through an Insurance rated A area

Just lock your doors when driving through an Insurance rated A area

or just lock your doors anyway lol. more like put op window up and lock the boot . really though unless its bright yellow no punk kids are gonna nick it really not unless you got about telling people how great it is and all the ice inside as to choice between the cars... 30bhp and leather seats, if you want that then go for it

really though unless its bright yellow no punk kids are gonna nick it really

Is this why there is a massive shortage of yellow vRS's-is's iz ?

I did an unofficial 'autotrader' survey... either no-one wants to sell their lovely banana - or no-one ever wanted to buy one!!

Andy.

(PS. does anyone know the plural of vRS ?)

If you are worried about driving around Drabford in a Skoda, move fella, in fact move to Keighley, and buy a Micra...

vRSes? :rubchin:

Steve

You should be alright, there's still a badge snobbery issue, Fabia's don't seem desirable to thiefs.

Well I dunno - some git nicked the badge off the back of my Vrs the other day.....

Was it a git,or was it a **** styling consultant who couldn't resist "improving" your motor for you?

Maybe those of us with yellow ones like them so much we don't want to get rid of them?

With a yellow one:-

People move out of your way

Nobody wants to nick it

You can always spot it in the car park

It gets dirty gracefully

It looks cheeky and cheerful

and buy a Micra...

 The Nissan Anti-Theft System fitted on them is really good... :P :D
