Bluetooth car kit

Featured Replies

Anyone got any recommendations for a bluetooth car kit?

Was looking at Parrot MINIKIT....but I have concerns on the audio quality.

Would consider one which plumbs into the stereo and has an lcd screen...don't want drilling in the dash though.

TIA for any information.

Cheers

The normal parrot kits have good reviews, plenty of info on here to about them.

CK3200

Ive been concidering one of these myself.

I can recommend the CK3000. No display though, but also nothing on display for any thugs to rip from your dashboard. I only have a phone holder mounted on the dash which means I can see the caller id looking at my phone rather than some display.

I have a spare CK3100 sat in its box in my garage if you wanna make an offer. I removed it from my MG ZT when I sold it, and fitted a head unit in my VRS that has BT built in, so never used it.

I've recently removed a Sony Ericsson HCB 700 that I was thinking of putting in the for sale section.

Sorry for the hijack, what head unit did you buy? Looking for a double din one for my upcoming 4x4 purchase.

I have a Parrot Evo, just a basic one. The controller is small and doesn't shout 'look at me' to certain member of the public. Sound quality is brilliant, not quite as good as listening to it through the earpiece on the phone, but not a million miles off. I can understand and be understood.

If you live near me, you're more than welcome to see mine in action and see if you like it.

Likewise - I did the Octavia a few weeks ago and the in the Furby last weekend.

Octavia took a while due to a ****-up getting the radio out (ahem...), but the Furby only took about 2 hours.

Halfords ask that you leave the car with them for about 45 mins when they do it, which seems quite optimistic

I think that if you've done a vehicle before, you know where you can hide stuff, so 45mins is possible if you know your stuff.
