Oh dear...

Ive just heard that the company i work for have been recently audited by microsoft :rofl:

This revealed that the company is 3/4 yes three quarters of a MILLION pounds short of licences!!! - mainly due to one of the other companies that we took-over last year turns out they had no licences whatsoever... :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

The management have managed to do a deal with M$ and negotiated the payment down to

I remember how one of the places I used to work at did a clear-out of the IT cupboards, and binned all the software licences for our CURRENT software as well as the copies of Office 97, Windows 98 Upgrade etc. etc. that we no longer used. Took FOREVER to sort out... :smirk:

Thats not strictly true, my bonus should be payed into my bank at the start of August ;)
