Well 'Fate' has dealt its hand in the last 6 days!!

Its been an expensive week.

1. Nail in tyre. Didnt spot it. On the motorway, got home, flat rear. New tyre (Side wall damage)

2. Thunderstorm on Tuesday. Parking the car, torrential rain, kerbed the front left alloy

3. Daughters '21st'. On the way to the restaurant, car full, pulling out of Mother in Law's drive, reversed into the car across the road. Deep scratch down and into the plastic bumper!!

Damage to his 1/4 panel just behind the drivers wheel. (Seat Leon)

Absolutely furious that I didnt see it!!!

My wife says bad luck comes in 3's. I hope thats it now. The car is 3 weeks old!!!

Love the civic, mind rear visibility is pretty poor. Only thing wrong with it imho mind.

Never mind ,these thing happen. If it makes you feel any better, not long after SWMBO got her brand new 1007 Pug, I kerbed the near side wheel and a few days later had a spike through the rear near side tyre. :eek:

My Furby had a nail in the tyre after less than 1000 miles. I was annoyed.

Its going to be a claim. He's (Seat Leon owner) had it looked at by a body shop and they have quoted

every time I have had a new card I have had a run in with a stump of some kind. My first car was a flourescent yellow/green Seat Arosa and I had passed my test a month when I hit a stump reversing and cracked my front bumper and took half the paint off the corner of it. I then had my Fabia and was reversing again and caught the side of my car on a broken bollard that somebody else had knocked over. You just cant see them things in your mirrors! :(

Bad 2 years for me. Get this history !

March '06 done for speeding, March '06 windscreen cracked, ARB replaced.

Halloween '06 , large tree branch fell on my Fabia Saloon's boot whilst parked at the base were I work - two years NCB gone

June '07 replaced battery, one week later reversed into Wing Commander's Lotus Elise in a temporary car park at the base - expecting no NCB left !
