Fabia vRS sales

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the welcome on my first post

Does anyone know roughly how many Fabia vRS's are currently on the road? Usually when I'm thinking of buying a car I suddenly notice loads of them but in the past two months I haven't seen a single one. :thumbdwn:

Has anyone else seen one on the road on your general travels?

Cheers,

BigAde

Skoda's generally are still fairly elusive around here, compared to the mass production marques.

Yeah, I suppose.

Saying that though I've seen loads of the other Fabias recently. They're all over the place.

A bit of both... :P Seriously though, I must have only seen about two since they were first launched in my local area, and that includes Exeter city too. The most I've ever seen seem to co-incide with Briskoda meets. weird that! :D

According to Skoda in 2003 686 Fabia vRS were sold. Obviously this doesn't include this year to March however I suspect that it would be a similar number would have been sold as orders are in up to May.

i have not noticed any yet in the glasgow area yet,

Apart from other forum members, I have seen around 4 on the road since september, plus 1 dealer regestered demo car and an unregestered test drive.

Not in Uddingston, but I have seen a few about the Southside and up in Partick area.

hmm I've been wondering the same thing! Seen loads of other fabias, but rarely the vrs.

I've seen 1xblack, 1xred (demo at garage) and my one :P. Not had a chance to see the yellow one yet.

On the rarity of skodas, quite a few hate skodas out there, hence why noone wanna go for a skoda. Colleague took the P*ss other day and ask about 10 colleagues whether you buy a skoda. Only one said yes.

Good thing is, it makes us unique!

PS: would a remapped vrs beat a 330ci (230bhp, ithink)

So let's say there's 1,000-1,500 Fabia vRS models on the road, out of a car population of 18-20 million. Yeah, rare! :)

I would say "No"......but then I know nothing. ;)

I've had the vrs exactly 1 month and I've seen one other fabvrs in that time, it was another black magic and it was parked up at Sainsburys in Chiswick West London.

Given that I live and work around London you'd think I'd see more.... no chance.....

No problem though I'm glad my car is rare, also only seen three or four Octy VRs'

D

Well there'll be one more on the roads after Sunday.

Picking mine up, let the fun begin.
