Featured Replies

Just out of interest, i was wondering which member has the fastest Skoda on this forum?

What is the spec? I.e. top speed, 0-60, bhp, etc?

EddyH I'd say would easily get the 0-60 but he has never timed it, but seeing as he has an octavia 4x4 with around 450bhp it should be quite nippy. Top speed i'd say it was between people like eddy, des, and dave personally. track wise i'd put my my money on des's car :)

devonutopia must have the fastest furby!

Martin

Octavia I reckon Des when it's running, Fabia it's either Devonutopia or Jabba luke although Jabba luke.

With the new Fabia and superb it is whoever owns the highest spec enginewise, but as I only know of one owner of the new fabia so far, the answer for that is probably misspiggy in her 1.2 :P

Jabba Luke gets my vote and its for sale

I can see a market for a set of Briskoda Top Trumps!

No he hasnt. i know of faster.;)

Devonutopia clocked 260bhp on a recent RR as posted on YouTube.

What's Luke running at the mo?

I've not seen a dyno in excess of 259.4 bhp yet, and until I do I'm insisting I've got the most "powerful" one :D Sure, so I've not put the fastest 1/4 mile in yet, and probably not the fastest real 0-60, but time will tell.

with lpg and nitros.

and i maintain that ive seen faster.

On a seperate note, i dinny have the bumper bits mate, i needed them for my new bumper.

There's a black Fabia vRS floating around with 273bhp. That was when it was last on the rolling road.

So, the crux of the matter is I'm the only one who's wholly public about what he's done then.

No worries on the bumper bits Mr Sausage - Going to stick with my TDI bumper for a while now.

Seem to remember that being a very quick beast indeed! Wasn't there a thread about that on here somewhere :rofl:

Chris

Oh hang on, is this the black one hanging around the south east somewhere? :D

How on earth do you get that kind of power from a vRS???

All the "regular" maximal mods plus dished pistons lowering the CR/increasing the cc and more boost?

I'd say for straight line top speed it'd be Eddy, easily.

ColinD's hatch WRC with more power than my old Elegance estate was slower over a greater distance. We put this down the the rear spoiler.

Don't forget there'd be classes:

0-60

track times

pure derv

Derv + chemicals (NOS, LPG)

track times

Unleash the Stig!!!!!

Chris

over a distance I bet stevie wonders octi vrs may take the top speed catagory

Perhaps topgear would do summat on the phenomenon of fettled furbys?

Why? Just because he has the gearing for a higher top speed doesn't mean he can pull it.

i bet he doesn't, he has 335jabbhp which aren't worth as much on the open market, more like around 275bhp looking at recent results from others ;)
