Collected my new L&K this morning

Featured Replies

It arrived at 9am sharp and the funny thing is I saw it going along on the back of a low loader about an hour prior to it arriving

What a fantastic car. I'll post some pictures up later but I am in the middle of fitting a W8 unit and the MFD2. Had it 5 minutes and it's already being butchered :D

Never mind playing with it - get some piccies up sharpish !!

Enjoy it

Good to hear, mine was only a an hour or so from the dealers before I had the steering wheel off for the CC fit.

Pics will arrive shortly, modding takes priority! :D

The joy of wireless (he says as he sits in the car with the laptop like a saddo)

I like the L&K, if only it had a decent V6 motor then you'd be talking :D

As for the 'butchering' I can't believe you are doing that to your car so soon, would'nt dream of doing that and I've had mine an absolute eternity (4 weeks) ;)

Butchering is a little harsh I will admit, I need the sat nav in tonight but I also fancied having a pop at the interior light at the same time, could be a mistake though :P

Some slightly higher quality pictures, the car is filty (delivered like it :thumbdwn: ) and will be getting a proper clean tomorrow.

i might have to do some butvhering, sorry alterations soon to mine for the talex and hidden light gun informer ;) but today i found talex do a sat nav version so im giving that a go to as it could save on leads.

Lurve the 'Sunset Glass', although I'm not overly impressed with the location of GPS reciever!, under the dash has been absolutely fine for me in 99.9% of conditions.

GPS receiver = temporary fit until the roof aerial is fitted :D

I couldn't get a GPS lock with the receiver under the dash.

That's one hell of a car. Wish I'd got an L&K now. What did you have before?

I had a 2006 Elegance TDI estate with various options fitted ;)

Before that I had a 2004 Elegance TDI estate

My wife has a 2007 vRS TDI with most of the option boxes ticked :)

Car looks nice, just need some ladders on the roof now :D

Ladders are going on in the morning.

Business as usual then. :D

I'll post some better pictures after Mr. Meguiars has done his magic

I might give the car a little clean at the same time

It's here at last! Very nice, I do like the two tone interior

That's quite a bunch of keys you've got there, thank goodness the Octy has remote-locking - your paintwork wouldn't stand a chance else :D
