I think an over night Stop somewhere in Millau would be good as the Bridge is well worth a long stop :D

also a long evening somewhere along the south of France would be good

i.e. Millau first night (long drive)

2nd night short drive to south of france and a really nice posh hotel for a good evening meal night out etc :D

Millau is very easy to do in a day, once away from the coast you can run at a constant 100 & plod will probably leave you alone, if caught the fines small

Remember to try & run through the tarn Gorge, the benefit of the bridge is that many of the roads under are virtually empty, heres a wee taster !!

Re South of France anywhere near the coast can suffer gridlock even out of season, if its a driving holiday you are better stopping a bit inland, Provence is nice !

And just think, Steve can organize everything.

Allowed a couple of hours at Millau bridge imo long enough to look round the visitor centre, photo stops etc. Whilst it would be nice to stop more nights and spread the driving out the cost would seriously escalate especially when talking about hotels able to accomodate us all in the south of France.
