Window Tints...**** or good ?

Featured Replies

Reason i'm asking is, the sunblinds in the back are no use for my 7 month old daughter, so we were looking to get the windows done.

Problem is, the car is Black Magic, so i'm scared it may look a little "****"

Any advice ?

go for it, black car+black tints=awesome :D

quite randomly tonight i have removed the silver tints from the back of my mazda and replaced them with black tints and also did the rear window, i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself as although massively cheaper it will never ever look anywhere near as good. i'll take some picks in a minute :)

go for it, am considering it for mine too

Still undecided.....

post a pic of your car and i'm sure someone can play with it to darken the windows so you can see what ti will look like :)

from the inside the windows are no where near as dark and you can see quite easily out of them, most are quite surprised the first time they see them :)

I think they are nasty, but then again I have had the 'full pimp' done to mine, but I have no taste or sense of style whatsoever.

There are some rubbish pictures on here somewhere.

Hth, G.

Had the X trail rear windows blacked out for the kids (they kept pulling the suction cup blinds off)

Looks great, kids are happy.Think that is the right order! Reckon a Fabia would look great:thumbup:

I've got tints on mine... I love em but know that its probably not to everyones taste. I'd post a pic but I don't know how!

Mike, Would you be able to email me a pic please seeing as yours is Black Magic aswell ?

vrsSprint, many thanks for the pic, appreciated. :)

I know tints aren't to everyones taste, but my main reason isn't for looks, it more the purpose that they serve, i just dont want it looking too pimp. :D

I'll nip out to the car park in a min and take a couple of shots on my phone. Just to warn you, they are about as black as you can get them!

lol...no worries. ;)

i know its not the right colour and shape but i thought id have a go of what mine would look like with tints and add it to this thread. the reflections off the trees dont make it that easy to view though
