It is a passion flower. We had them growing at the front of our house in Leeds.

It used to grow passion fruit too but it wasn't warm enough for them to mature enough to be edible.

There's loads of varieties in all sizes and colours, apparently.

Yup it's a passion flower , got one growing up the garage wall, grows like a weed & as RobClubley says it has fruit all over it. it is a realy nice flower.

thanks for comments. I was indeed using the canon ixus 50, but I do have a Nikon D80 aswell, but the canon is more portable haha

we got them on our garden wall, it started to try and steal the BBQ!! :eek:

it was wrapped all round it and tied itself on tight, but i learnt it

I'd never heard of a passion flower until I read this thread. But look what my eagle-eyed daughter spotted growing through the fence from next door.
