Feel for you mate, glad you're ok!

Trust me, you don't want my old TT seats! They are trashed

Yep. O/S Front tyre was pushed off the rim - did a lot of damage.

must admit I do like that car

Jabbasport will be rubbing their hands when they hear that you are getting another TDI!

You going to go for black again then?

Thought you might go for something easier to see.... I mean keep clean this time!

Everybody knows that black is the best colour! :D

I will, however, be painting a big yellow stripe down the middle though!!

I've already been pricing up a few things for it, and haven't even got the car yet!

My best mate has a 2006 Leon PD140 Sport in black, just like the photo!... Very nice to drive it is too, lots of extras, seats are great. The only things I'm not keen on is the massive radio display and expanse of grey plastic around the buttons - but sat nav cures that! The gear change is a bit light, and the dash covering can mark easily. The glove box latch needs tightening up occassionally and it is pointlessly small. The boot entrance is quite narrow, and hes had trouble with knocking rear suspension and sticky electric window motors.

Other than that, they really are a great car! Would have one over a Golf or A3 any day. :)

I was looking at the FR not long ago as they had a black one in the showroom.

Quite liked it but no cash at the moment plus I promised myself to keep the Fabia for a few years yet....

Two main reasons why I went for the Sport over the FR.

1. The 140PS is a more refined engine. It's also slighty better on mpg.

2. The FR's are still a little pricey for my liking.

The Sport is spec'd the same, just different engine, alloys, front/rear bumpers..........:D

Sounding good Jon

I do like the look of the Leon, but wasn't too keen on the interior. The guy who I bought this Fabia off had just got a Sport as a company car (hence the Fabia sale).

Steve

i have a slight phobia about wagons and my furbie being level with them

I either drop back behind them or boot it past them

It wouldn't matter if you were driving a Range Rover, if an Artic pulled out and into you, it would crush any car like an egg box.
