Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

Couple of quick questions.

I have parking sensors fitted in my Fabia, however the manual states and I agree that it will reach a continuous tone when an object is 30cm away. To my mind that is still quite a distance my previous car (BMW) only reached a continuous tone when about 10cm away from any object which in my mind is more realistic. Is there any way to adjust these?

Also how possible would it be to rig up a sensor kit for the front of a Fabia?

Thanks

I don't think it is possible to vary the distance.

Non OEM kits for front can be bought on eBay etc.

You could always look back when you're reversing.

A radical thought I know, but it's worked in the past.

If the tone doesn't change to continuous until you are 4" away from the target, as you confident you can stop the car in 4"?
