Weston Super Mare meet No6: Saturday 3rd November 2007

Yup its the BI ANNUAL WSM meet again for all us lovely BRISKODAIANs

Details of the mini meet are as follows:

Weston Sea Front Car Park by the miniature railway by 10:30am,

as its Autum we could get High Winds and rain :P,

I would like to book us all in for a nice lunch in the same pub as last year

The Claremont Vaults about 12:00noon.

After lunch (about 2:00pm) we could spend all our Coppers on the Arcades and bumber cars at the end of the Pier.

Also all members must ride the Miniature Railway because we can probably get a group buy

This year about 3pm I will plan a trip to a couple of local Cyder farms to fill up on Scrumpy

and Finally there is usually a post meet Trip To Burnham On Sea or Cheddar Gorge to catch the Sunset @6:30pm

(for all the people who have been able to last that long)

There is also 2 pre meet Convoys

from the North, Easton Gordano Services (Junction 19 M5) at 9:30am

(leave there about 10:00am Latest)

from the south, Exeter Services (formally Granada services) at 8:30am!

- Can leave at a leisurely 9.30 for a cruise up the motorway

What's the problem with Chedder gorge? I don't want to knowlingly risk damage to my car

"Someone" wiped out their sump going down there. But it was excuseable given there was a not-normal huge rock in the road. It's perfectly safe unless you go way too fast and actually skid off the road.

A very large rock met my oil sump leaving myself and Niki (SWMBO) a little stranded in the gorge.

One of those freak of nature type of things, rock fell from the gorge onto the road and the rest is history.

Still we've got breakdown cover this year so fingers crossed ...
