Who has modded their VRS SE???

Featured Replies

Come on then.... out of all the SE owners on here, who has started modifying their vehicles already. Could you we get some replies and pics and see who's made the most changes so far?

I seem to remember one member posting pics of his SE lowered on a new Eibach setup a while ago, but that's it. Who else has been at work?

Have 30mm H&R's in mine, will ge the pd160 intake added when I get a chance to get to a dealer, and all fingures crossed should be getting a set of Octy MK1 Vrs alloys, and a remap. That will be the lot for me

I hope everyone who is considering posting in this thread has listed their SE on the register thread, just to make it easier for Skoda UK to be able to deny your future warranty claims

Ours has a vRS air freshener:thumbup:

They'll void your warranty for that !

Not a problem if you have a friendly dealer.

Your dealer doesn't make the choices. Skoda UK do! Still a problem then! :P

My last dealers were too stupid to see mods.

How do Skoda UK know a car is modded, they do not have a present at the INDEPENDANT dealers? It is what the dealer decides to do.

btw, SUK is banned from viewing briskoda

so its just the suk spy's we have to find then lol

Fully indepenent garages will not be able to carry out warranty work though.

And although dealers may be franchised rather than wholly owned by Skoda UK, any future warranty claims will have to be done through them, and require approval from Skoda UK.

flippin' 'eck!

Out of interest ... how much did the door cards cost you?

Whats even better is that you've listed your dealer too

Why shouldn't I when I'm got nothing to hide whilst driving around in my fully unmodified vehicle?

Good point, my bad (as Americans would say) :)

Thought you were hinting that your dealer was okay with mods, even so your supplying dealer may not be your servicing dealer ;):D

My dealer did say they would be ok, but I'm well aware that the opinion of one sales guy could count for naff all should you come up with a hefty claim. I'm not looking at altering my car from standard yet either, I'm just interested in which of the SE owners have been busy already!

the cards cost 100 cash mate if that helps ya. Although i didnt enjoy paying it for some thing skoda should have done them selfs.

I,m up that end of Hull alot but dont use that place. you cant mistake my car. look for the milltek tail pipe. does'nt sound to bad either

ur joking rite???

Sounds reasonable, although I agree they should have been done in the first place to improve the look of the car. It wouldn't have fitted in with how the se's were manufactured though ... ie being shipped to Grimsby before being retrimmed with the leather seats.

Did the seat surgeons manage to match the blue piping/stitching?

Did you have top send them your own doorcards?
