One down, two to go....

Featured Replies

The vrs passed it's first MOT yesterday (no problems) so that's the first hurdle out of the way!

Next up is the 40K service (that's gonna hurt!) in 3.5k miles then it's remap time.......:woohoo:

As Clarkson would say, "Bring me more POWER!!!"

I've not long had the MOT and 40K service too.

I also have the timing belt and water pump coming up around Sept/Oct!

THEN I can start saving for goodies!

Do you not fancy taclking the service yourself?

No thanks!

And for the time being (while it's still so young) I want to keep the skoda stamps in the log book.

After the 40k I may reconsider but if I decide to swap the car in a few years it will most likely be with the dealer so probably best if they know the car and all the stamps are present IMHO.

I have a friendly VW mechanic who does my work for vey good rates :D

It also ensures a fully stamped up book for future reference.

MOT & Cam belt due in Feb.

Whats the bet the "service" light pops up then. Grrrrrrrrr
