Greetings to all Briskodians! I have owned a Roomster for a little less than a year, and have been reading the forum too. And finally overcame all doubts and resolved on joining in. So, greetings to all once more!!!

When visiting UK a week ago, did not see a single Roomster, though. Just one new Fabia in Baslow. Octavias are quite common, in contrast. Just like elsewhere - roomster appears a niche model...

hi and welcome to briskoda... octavia's common? never... ;)

Welcome

Damn good written English too

This from half-Russian half-Roumanian born in UK - so I know how hard it is (1st spoke English when I went to school at 4).

I've only seen two or three Roomsters on the road so far , though I did park behind one last night.

Welcome to Briskoda

Hiya. I've not see too many Roomsters here either, but it is still a fairly new model here, unlike the Fabia and Octavia.

To Muppit: Paldies!:)

Well, as to Octavias - common or not, at least I saw some. But not a single Roomster during my stay in the UK. In Riga I do see them (aside from my own) quite often. Mainly as company cars with all kinds of decals, though. And in Tallinn saw one used as a taxi. Yet last year, when I just bought mine, it gave a pleasant feeling to see others turn their heads - Roomster was a rare sight.

I say I've not seen "too many"; I'd say the number's still in single figures, and I've covered a fair part of Scotland.

And they say the Skoda factory barely copes with the incoming orders. Where do all those Roomsters go after all?

I have no idea. With the popularity of the Octavia on the taxi market, I'd have thought the Roomster was a "shoe-in" there, but no, all the Skoda taxis I see are still Octys.
