but it could be as simple as the ecu has gone back to standard, its a learning ecu that gets used to how you drive it. So if you thump around like a tool all the time it sets the car more aggressively so after being reset its in lesser mode(no offence to rug munchers, its only a regular everyday term ) until it learns that you drive like a spanner everywhere so gives it its all at any given time.

Could simply require a Throttle Body Alignment. Chances are they've had the battery off or it has gone flat.

is this the same on all octy's that the ecu learns the way you drive?

i went to my mates skyline garage over the weekend and got him to check it out, without even going 100 yards he said that my clutch is slipping and needs changing which is what is creating the high revving between gears.

so im looking for clutch, which i may aswell upgrade if after this im getting it remapped

anyone tried these and will it fit?

not that i noticed, it sometimes didnt like going into 5th, but thats all.
