This Can't be Right!

Featured Replies

Is it normal to get a warm fuzzy feeling after embarrassing BMW drivers or should i consider getting some professional help

Normal.

I got the same after keeping an Elise behind me on a dualie off a roundabout. It is nice to just show that their cars, although superior perhaps in other ways, can be humbled by a 5 door skoda.

Tell that to the BMW compact owner who had a little wee all over me the other day. But not by a lot. Must have been a 325td

I got the same feeling the other day when a **** in a new golf gt tried to overtake me on a back lane.

It wasnt like i was driving steady as anyone who knows me can confirm i have a right foot made from the finest lead, so why did he have to try and over take?

Bet he felt happy about his new purchase when he got wee'd on by a little skoda 5 door shopping trolly :D

well thats a relief! i guess i'll keep listening to the little voices in my head then. They may be the "ultimate driving machine" but it doesn't make them the "ultimate drivers"

Don't get carried away mind. There are plenty of cars out there which will happily poop all over the vRS.

Still, cant beat flooring it when you see some little charver rattling down the outside lane in their Zetec S, and then seeing the look on their faces afterwards when they realise they cant get by.

What, a ghost car? ;) Would have either been a 320td Compact, or the really quite nice 325ti

I'm still waiting for them to do a 3dr 130d now, or even the 135d  :D

Ah ok. Not very clued up on my BMW compact knowledge.... it was pretty close he only edged past slowly.

Chaved up Clio earlier, up-hill too... never stood a chance, lol!

It's all down to the driver ;)

I had a 56 plate 3 series dancing about my rear bumper coming off the first of 3 roundabouts, Left him in a cloud of soot at the second and he finally caught up as i was turning off at the third, don't think he appreciated the big grin and friendly wave. some people don't know when they're beat! though i do pick my fights carefully!

A common or garden 318?

Jason, I trust you are well and take this as it's meant *prefix simley* ;)

The internal combustion engine requires a mix of fuel and air...

I contest that said Elise owner whom was behind you wasn't aware of this requirement and as such when exiting roundabout was left without a ital component; rather his components had been swapped..by you and your sooty silver slaying machine, the jsssm :D

Ack well it sounded better in my head...

I just have all my fun in the corners now...after all mines only a 1.4...way to many production cars pumping high 100's or even 200's now...straight line drags have never been my thing, as with many things in live, curves are the best :P

i have no idea, never saw the back of it. it was just the fact he was close enough that i could make out the VIN number that upset me.

Honest officer, i was provoked!

Move over BMW, Skoda now own the road!

just dinny race a 530d or a 523d se or you will get minced.

240bhp isnt even enough.

no doupt someone will dissagree, if so post up your rolling road graph , id be interested to see it

I think the main problem with BMW drivers is they used to be the SAME guys who used to drive Escort Mark 3's all those years ago.

They really DO think they own the road.

However, I would wager that there's probably a BMW forum somewhere with people complaining about Skodas being driven in a pushy, obstructive, aggressive manner.

Ironic...? :rubchin:

Rob.

Can confirm that embarrassing BMW drivers is a favorite pastime. Oh, and anything driven with a stupidly oversize exhaust, driven by a spotty teenager that tries to overtake up a hill. :rofl:

Zooming up hills is awesome...advantage vR :)

Are you trying to say that a petrol engine doesn't run too well when the inducted oxygen is replaced with soot, Col?!

As Jeremy Clarkson said once "BMWs; built by Germans, driven by t*ssers".

My best mate works for Rolls Royce and can have any BMW up to 3litres as his company car (changed every 3 months) so I shouldn't hold that against him really should I...

Its good to see that other people (not the bmw owners) find this funny :)
