Jaguar XF Official Car Photos

Hmmm, think I saw an article on this in this month's Evo? Important car for Jag, no doubt - especially considering its current 'for sale' position.

I like it, apart from the front. Looks like a slightly scared new Mondy to me

At least it finally puts the S-Type to rest. Never right that car, IMO. I drove an early one and it was dire. The final ones, in Sport or R form look good and reportedly drive/handle well, but seems to me they spent nearly 10 years trying to get it right.

Steve

Not liking the headlights

Is it just me or does it have a whiff of new mondeo at the back. Looks like Ol' henry is having a last stab before relinquishing the reigns.

I think it looks excellent

XK8 is the only nice thing on offer from jag IMO.

I would have no idea that that XF was a jag.Something Korean about it.

Ok from the side or back, but ok in a "bit ordinary" looking way.

Don't like the front, reminds me of those seriously ugly Subarus.

If I was buying a Jag it would be an old skool supercharged XJ.

New XK is lovely too though, sounds great as well.

Better a Ford than a "City Jaguar".

(Tata were the company behind these!)

looks pretty similar to the one at the Geneva motorshow in March this year, wondered what it was!:

Not a fan of that at all :( Seems like Jag have lost all their trademark styling and gone a bit too mainstream - looks a bit Lexus meets new Passat to me.

The one BigW posted up from the motorshow look better though, but still not very Jag...

Chris

Aside from the grill its rather nice

I just think that the badge looks like it was stuck on as an after thought

It's in this months Top Gear magazine. Quite nice interior but the phospor blue lighting around some of the controls looks like the next ch@v upgrade. Not a fan of blue lighting for an interior

Don't like the revolving air vents - Naff and they will break in the closed position. whats wrong with slats?

The pop up drive selector kn()b goes against the intutive feel of a lever IMO. I don't think I would get on with it.

Blatant Mondeo meets Aston rear end on it though. Fords/Astons/Jags are all blending into one shade of mushy corporate grey.

It'll sell pretty well methinks, especially the derv.

Rather have a CLS any day. But then wouldn't we all.

New seat...........??????

Looking at those other shots, I'm with Chris and I see Lexus

:iagree:

I'm sorry, but it's just a little too similar!

Who'd have thought it, the Brits copying the Japanese - it's usually the other way round! :P

I think its excellent! IIRC i was built to compete in the American market , so the fact that it looks like a Lexus could be deliberate. Its 1000% nicer than the S type , Ive never liked that car.
