Caught speeding by Specs??

They dont have to be set at anything like the ACPO guidelines. If a force or partnership really wanted to, they could easily set them all at 71mph and bust everyone.

In fact some forces now set their 30 cams to 31mph!

Show me a speeding ticket for 31mph in a 30. police forces and camera parteneships are not after people a mph or 2 over the limit as one they have admitted they couldnt keep up with the paperwork and two its not in the public interest.

Do SPECS zones not have to be signposted?

They have to inform you there is a speed trap ahead, but dont need to tell you what device it is, however usually there will be a sign at the start saying "SPECS Average speed monitoring zone" or similar. Funny how many people cant read or understand the word "average"
