The guy who damaged my car was the same... not really very interested and never rang me when garage rang him with quote, so rang his business and he was out of the country! so they put me through to his wife who was extremely helpful and we got it booked into garage for monday!

If people are going to drive carelessly and not think about other road users they should at least be ready to face the consequenses!!

The DVLA wont release the address either due to the data protection act, the only way to get that is through the police/insurance.

2. actually when you buy a vechicle there is a section on the v5 which tells you about they can provide the deatails to anyone you have a crash with, for a small price of £2.50, basically not many people tick the box that says "no i dont want to give my details" (i think its well hidden)

My heated rear window is slow in this recent spell of damp mornings, i get loads of condensation inside the rear glass :(
