hi all ,when does the service indicator come on when the car is on the variable schedule mines done 25k and it was last done in June 06 at 15k, i used to have a mini and every time you switched on the ign it told you how many miles to its next service ,does it just come on about 1k before its due

Yep, it counts down from 1000.

Should be a little while yet approx 30k or June 08.
