My missus has a 306 HDi....104k on the clock and it's still ok, just painfully slow. Drove it yesterday and scared myself which motorway gaps I CAN'T quite reach in time. Got back in the vRS and it felt like a rocket in comparison. You'll love it when you find one, just don't expect it to handle anywhere near as well as your Pug. My X reg HDi Dturbo was the best handling car I've ever had. GTi suspension and wheels and the thing was simply god-like on a B road.....all it was lacking was straight line power.

thats what i used to own and i feel exactly the same........ why didn't i just shove a bigger engine in the pug it just kept on going round corners nomater how fast you pushed it:D

My sentiments exactly. I chased a Subaru down a B road once. He left me for dead in the straights but I was all over his botty in the bends. Awesome handling machine...

It needed the HDi 110 with a fat remap I reckon as that chassis can handle so much more power than the piddly 90bhp it comes with. Also, the seats needed bigger bolsters to cope with all that cornering ability......and the interior needs to squeak and rattle less.....

Got some news for you guy's my hdi is actually exactly the same speed as a standard VRS! LOL
