Anyone had dealings with this company?

They seem to sell some half decent kit at reasonable prices but when I had a query before I bought, they don't answer emails sent to their sales team. They don't have a contact no. either!

Just wondered as they don't want to talk to prospective buyers, if they were one of those iffy outfits that take your money and you don't get the gear!!

Nearly got caught by a US company for a few hundred quid, so naturally a bit wary!!

Any help appreciated!!

No telephone number on their site, so I'd steer clear.

i refuse to have dealings with any company that has the word "Direct" in its title as a matter of principle, what exactly does it mean?

1. to manage or guide by advice, helpful information, instruction, etc.

Hmm, Nominet shows the domain name registered to a 'UK Individual' with a contact address of a residential flat in North Notts.

Anyone mentioned the word dodgy yet?

If you like giving money away with little hope of getting your good then by all means give them a go.

They could be legit, but not answering e-mails or having a contact phone number is never a good sign.

I've come across this thread because I bought something from this website yesterday morning and have had no email confirmation from them. I sent them an email yesterday afternoon asking them to confirm the order but no response.

Interesting that the person in question can also be found on a consumer issues forum asking for help!

Neither "Modify Direct" or "Mail Order Highway" are listed with companies house, and putting the details from the domain reg into the BT phone book search brings up nothing.

Normally it means they hold zero stock and will just send direct from the manufacturer, which is actually quite common place and certainly shouldn't be a reason not to buy from them.
