I,v got a Steeda short shifter fitted to my Focus but i dont really want to spend silly money if this cheaper shifter is just as good.

I was looking at of those for the Golf. Think I might stump up a bit more cash for a B+M one though.

And they are an **** to fit, you have to drop tthe exhaust off, the heat shields and then take the gear selector out from underneath.

I got fed up looking for a SS for the fabia - hence the guide to DIY in the guides section. Costs nothing and works a treat...

think ill get a Diesel Geek SS as i cant be bothered to remove the exhaust etc.
