Ok, who restarted the thread????

I've got Autoglass coming out tomorrow because the screen has just given out due to a stone hit on the very edge of the screen.

Autoglass have asked me if the existing screen is plain or solar glass???? I've told them is got a tinted strip at the top, but is it worth phoning back to say it's solar glass?

It's got a grey strip and green tint...

Or is it green strip and grey tint....?

Think it's the former. The Fabia windscreen is just like anyother, they don't like stones.

Yep, definitely green tint. I know because I odered the wrong one!

So Autoglass get told it's got a green tint across the top so go and fit a plain screen without any tinted strip!!

Now I've got to wait a week before they can come and refit the correct screen.
