While I'd like to think I could drive it all on my own I fear that, being just past thirty, my best days are behind me. (The time I drove to Edinburgh and back in a day is almost out of memory...). So I'm basically advertising for a passenger/2nd driver - I want to take my car as I want to drive the serious roads and perhaps the Ring and mean it, but anyone who is up for the roadtrip side of things without a lot of the expense is welcome to join me.

Seen my post above? I'd go as a co drive rather than take my car possibly.

What car have you got (eg is it standard) ? I'm for the same reason that Munich and back wasn't the best of moves alone.

Don't book me a definate place on this as I'm not sure what I'm gonna do next year yet. There's a lot of talk of trips and holidays for next year already so don't know if I'll have enough funds/time off work!! So far apparently I'm going to Cuba, Jamaica, 'ring and scotland already! :rofl:

Nobody is booked, people will only be booked when/ if they come up with funds (approx £400 per person, hopefully not all of this will be needed) for hotel reservations, in January. All other monies will be down to the individual come september (fuel/ferry/food/tolls/spend). Anyone who can't/ won't find the money in January will not be booked, I will however list the hotels I have booked at this time so people can try and make their own arrangements at a later date, but would point out it will then be their own responsability to ensure they have a bed for each night:O.

Quick update, spoken to my travel agent and she thinks this should be possible for around the £50 ppn average but until I start booking with definate numbers won't know if we will be eligable for any group booking discounts. Don't spend up over xmas folks will be looking to book in late January
