Bra!

Featured Replies

No boobies in here I'm afraid!

Does anyone know if there is a car bra out there for the Fabia?

Other than the big one that covers the whole front on auto-bra.com!

I've had a look on german ebay with no success.

I know they arent everyones cup of tea but I like them.

help appreciated.

I've been looking into this, and can't find anything off the shelf. My friend is going to have a look at what can be done when he does a retrim for me, the awkward thing is the grille being connected to the bonnet though...

What the 'kin hell is a car bra?

The problem with any kind of bra, it needs to fit well. If there is the slightest gap, dirt will ingress and rub away at your paint leading to a frond end respray.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is it for?!

I guess its primary use is to keep the front free from stone chips.

The fabia one looks quite silly.

Not to my taste, but different strokes for different folks.

...instead causing the paint on the rest of your car to fade faster than the paint under the bra, meaning you need a respray anyway...

That one in the link is too big IMO.... a smaller one would be good like this

Horrid devices, bought by the sort of people who cover their hallway carpets with plastic "protection" strips, and inflict similar horror to their 3 piece suites.YUK YUK YUK.

Tried asking this a while ago, someone was looking into getting one made, the only available one is hideous, and it doesnt help when some folks dont understand it's function over form and simply come on for a ribbing session!

I personally like the way they look as well.

The sig says it all... no doubt ultra_joel wants to avoid blood stains on his bonnet during his nocturnal excercises:D

Oh please god no dont do it. If you're worried about stonechips 'Folia-tec' the lesser of 2 evils

Damn... so you drive around with that piece of **** on the front end of the car?! I was going to ask that earlier, but thought I'd just get laughed at because I thought there's no way you would...

looks like the vinyl roof on my old mk4 cortina shag waggon

They look mint of the right style of car I think

Polish?

But if you're going to go to the lengths of hand-polishing the car to nourish the exposed paint, why not just chipstick the stone chips at the same time???
