New Car ordered!

Featured Replies

Unfortunately it's not a Skoda but from the same stable:

Seat Leon 2.0 TDi FR 170

Convenience Pack (Auto Light, Wipers and Self Dimming Mirror)

18's

Bluetooth

Centre Arm rest

Rear Parking Sensors

P11D value is £18990 but it's costing the company £304 per month.

Two or so weeks ago I had requested three quotes on the Octavia vRS TDi and three quotes on the Leon, got two quotes straight away for the Leon but have yet to see any prices for the Skoda. Test drove a Leon and the dealer managed to get me one from stock, delivery in two weeks. Really wanted Candy White but delivery would be late January (!) and due to a new employee needing a car at work we needed my new one in a hurry which means it's Luna Grey AKA silver.

A leon FR in silver on the 18s. I never even drove the Skoda, TBH I'm not chasing the dealers, if they can't be arsed to run a quote off the PC they aren't getting my business. The car is ordered through Alexandra Bridge Cars in Sunderland and the boss has already enquired about an Ibiza for a colleague, if the Skoda dealer had got back to me he could have sold an Octavia and a Fabia!

If anyone is interested i'll post some pics in a couple of weeks when it's delivered, if not i'll feck off to SEATCupra.net - Your #1 source for SEAT information - Home :P:D

Looks nice. Funnily enough me and my dad went to other dealers after the sales staff didn't seem to want to talk to us. One walked away from my dad. I with you on that...if they can't be bothered to give you a quote.

Hmmmm, everyone must have hit their targets on thr 5th of this month :( It's not as if I wanted to rag the cars about and use all of their petrol, I just wanted them to stop flirting with the receptionist and run a quote off! Dealers must lose hundreds of thousands by just being shoddy and forgetful.

I was pretty much ignored by the salesmen at my local dealers when I went enquire about an Octy vRS :(

Ah well their loss...

good choice! now get yourself over to SEAT Cupra.net and start posting :)

I have! Same user name with the heady post count of 16 atm. :)

Funnily enough I visited 2 dealers to get a deal to update my mk1 Octy vRS, came away with no info, one even saying why do I want to change. Sent me straight into the arms of Motorpoint!!!

I'm still very unsure about the styling of the new leons. They are nice and rare though.

A chap at work has one and he loves it to bits.

he usually has tasty motors, but his last two have been Leons, and says he won't change marques again.

He won't let me have a go to 'test' it though because he's seen the way I treat my cars:O

TBH so am I!:o I think it's the swoop that goes from the headlight over the front arch and disappears somewhere on the back door that still throws me a bit.

Feels very much like my bosses A4 S-Line to drive, but it's faster, has more toys and cost less :D

The red lights in the bottom of the rear view mirror had me puzzled for a second or so, couldn't work out what was lighting up my hand. Plus I spent the whole drive back from the dealer talking to the Bluetooth lady, very nice but can be sometimes hard of hearing.
