Green Induction Kit

Featured Replies

Hi there,

was wondering if the Green Cotton Single Cone induction kit would be good on the felicia? Is listed on europerformance.co.uk for £82 for the 1.3mpi, would it give the felicia a good note? Currently have a drilled airbox but want an even better note, would this be worth it? Thanks

wat does drilled airbox sound like? wouldnt tht fail mot?

I would seriously advocate leaving in the original airbox

Not seen a "cone" filter that has made gains on any engine, without extensive modification (I.E Cold air box fabricated etc)

It may give more induction roar, but it'll also make you look like a **** as you roar down the road, with less HP than a stock box, pulling 29.8mph in 2nd gear....

it will make make it sound a but meat i would say.

id get an induction kit if i knew were to get one , they are cool and i think if it improves on your car y not? :D

sounds expensive for an induction kit, if i were to do it i would probably try and find a universal cone filter off ebay for a few quid and butcher up a few other bits and pieces to make it fit

so im guessing its not easy to find one to fit skodaS?

thers one goin on ebay for like 80 odd quid.but i was thinkin a universal one wud b ok like- thinkin k n n mayb?

any induction kit elemen pretty much would work i think, a friend of mine with a micra has got the element designed for an aston martin attached using bodge tape to a section of piping he bought from homebase which was then bodge taped to the air intake... and that works really well

ok so been on the k an n site, onli seems to cater for the pctavia n fabia -- tried the pipercros website, ahgain for the same 2 cars. dnt get mucho time to look with bein in worko so if anyone nows of a manufacturar of an induction kit, please leme knows! lol. gettin the backbox end a this month so im hoping that with any luck il get a nice roar outa the both of them.

You are best off measuring the diameter of the intake, then getting a universal cone to fit, id say the intake was between 70-80mm. Then remove the standard air box, measure the intake of the ram air pipe hole and get a cold air feed pipe to fit. Then get some heat shielding barriers (made out of stainless steel or alluminium normally) made up to stop the filter from drawing in crap and hot air from the engine bay.

That should do it for all thats it worth, maybe 2-3bhp if you havent done the other "breathing" modifcations like exhaust, manifold, cams etc if those are done, you will probably gain 5bhp max.

yes its possible to get an induction kit for a felly for about £50.

A friend of mine who owns a car modding shop, rang up the main companies and they do make them to fit a felly.

its probably a product thats not popular because oof the cars age, old so its not listed, whereas the fabia vrs is featured in the car modding magazines, so its also in the parts sections in fast car, redline, and max power

OR get a universal for about £30

wow over £200 for the back box. i payed £280 for a full cat-back custom made

finally gotmy induction kit on tday people, n daves a uber happy lad., already sounds meaner, and cost me next to nothin, wooo

not being funny but you stole my word :finger:

I know you been using it alot recently but its not fair.

Uber C copyright of Felicia Racer.

LOL

the felicia/favorit has a forced induction cold air kit as standard. you cant improve it.

In answer to Jaymz's query about the MoT, the only way an induction mod can cause you to fail the MoT is if it adversely affects the emissions.
