KTP - The yellow looks stunning, fancy making me a set, black stripes done for my mark one fabia mate.

David

The blue one looks ace, think I would prefer the yellow one with the Roomster alloys and the roof kept yellow though.

The blue one really shows that a new Fabia vRS has real potential!

nice job both look well

Id have either of them , as long as they both had the springs/roomster wheel mod done. I'd also prefer the yellow one with a yellow roof , or maybe with a white roof and corresponding bonnet stripes/mirror caps. Nice job , best new fabias Ive seen so far.

In fact , if I saw that blue one at a garage , I'd be tempted to trade mine in for it.... but with it being a 3 TDi , I doubt I could afford it , it also looks like its got ESP (rear discs).

Certainly gives a good idea of what the new vRS could look like...all that blue one needs is a bit more of a 'chin' and it's there.

Are those side stripes custom made?

the roof is black as standard on that particular car.

yeah sure, i'm going to design a kit to fit the mk1 although i wont have much call for it.

its fully loaded, very nice car to drive, pity it doesnt have the performance of the vrs.

110bhp iirc, chipped would make a huge difference.

yes, they are tailored to the new fabia and will only be available through myself or the garage i carried out the work for.

I love 'em both, nice job

Well I'm intrested in the stripes up the side of my Mark one, if you can mate, cos they look ace.

I had a set of stripes on my last car and totally changed the look.

David

What size tyres will they be?

205/45 17?

The Fabia MkII looks too 'nice' for the stripes to have much affect. IMHO it isn't a mean enough loking car. As mentioned before it's neither a Swift nor a Mini.

How about some white stripes and wheels on a Red Fabia - ready for the Czech job?

Seen at Progress Skoda in Bedford this afternoon (sorry the photos are not too sharp).

That looks alright, just needs a bigger set of wheels.

Why does everything always need a bigger set of wheels ?????????????

Just my opinion mate, if it were a couple of inches bigger, maybe just the way I'm seeing the picture but the wheels look small.

But the stripes change the look of the car.

Point taken; I was only 'pulling you leg'.

It is only a Fabia 1 on 15" wheels and 16s would be better, but I don't think 17s are necessary from a handling perspective nor for looks.

No worries mate,

Personally I come from a modding scene when I was younger I'm 24 years old my last two cars had 17's on them, a micra and a focus.

When I got my Fabia Vrs the car was spot on the wheels suit the car, so need to change them.

Personally now I think you should not tamper with the car too much that car would be better with the skoda alloys a bit bigger.

David

why arnt the stripes continued on the boot froof lip?!

you mean across the "bumper" on the red one ?

Nice constructive reply there, I'm getting really fed-up with all this polished turd nonsense. Why even look in the Fabia 2 forum if you don't like them?

On a positive note; Think the wheels and the strips look great, what about using the colour of the stripes and get the entire roof done.

The best Fabia 2 I've seen.

Your sick of these sorts of comments, everyone seems to have a negative comment or two about the car i own,but whenever people comment on any other skoda in a negative way we get jumped on,i pay my membership i'll post wherever i want, and if you don't like my opinion, hell i don't give a ****,but you and others like you won't censor my views,i am as entitled to them as the next man and will continue to air them whenever i want.If you don't like it iggy my username and be done with it,but don't whinge at me you are sick of negative comments about your car,cos mk 1 owners get more stick than anyone on this forum, and too be honest i am sick to death of it.

RANT OVER

On a positive note anyone wanting their cars doing, having seen ktp's work first hand at trax this year all i can say is it is first class,i even still have my silverstone sticker on:D

Quite. 4 + spare should be a big enough set for anyone.

but don't whinge at me you are sick of negative comments about your car,cos mk 1 owners get more stick than anyone on this forum, and too be honest i am sick to death of it.

RANT OVER

I don't own a Fabia mk2 so I'm not defending my own car!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but main thing that frustrated me was the 'polished turd' comment, a comment I have seen elsewhere on this and many other forums. On that note if you make a comment please make it your own.

Also, I previously owned a Fabia VRs since Feb 2004, before most people realised what a damn good car it is, and I've had my own fair share of negative comments, but none from (I'm pleased to say) members of this forum.

Des (Proud Skoda owner)

you mean across the "bumper" on the red one ?

the pic with the boot door up, theres no stripes on it above the window following from the roof to the rear...

why do I always think "bonnet" when I read "boot" ?

(maybe I shoudl be driving a 911 !! - or an old beetle)
