Stripes anyone?

Featured Replies

i fitted some stripes to a new fabia today.

the thought was perhaps go over the roof and down the boot but we decided just the bonnet looked good.

the car has also been lowered and a set of 17" roomster alloys fitted.

i'm going to work on a set of stripes for the lower parts of the doors so should get a complete picture up once the car is finished.

what do you's think?

nice colour - and the wheels look ,well good

I think it needs to be all or nothing :)

probably look better over the roof also

No stripes at all IMO.

It aint a mini, or a swift....

That looks good, the wheels and the front foglights set it off nicely.

Did you use Eibach springs?

not sure about stripes but cracker lookin alloys...

Now i like the look of that! Those wheels should be an option on the Fabia.

would the wheels fit a vrs ?

I think they would fit any Fabia , either Mk1 or 2 , as the wheel fitment was not changed , so , yes they should fit a vRS.

KTP did you do that for a customer , or the garage (Chathams??)

they look abit Audi ish, nice wheels

Nice wheels, nice colour scheme, but is it a Mabia or a Fini?

nope its a furby:D

Looks good with the Roomy wheels!! i think im gonna have to get one sometime soon:) think you should put a Silver roof and mirrors on it

or was it West End ?

how do the stripes work on the doors ?

First really nice fabia mk2 I've seen to be honest. It gets way with the stripes somehow, but don't think I would bother. For some reason I think it would be quite cool having that grey stripe along that ridge down the sides, just above the door handles. But only about 2cm wide only.

The wheels really helps the overall image of the car though. cool!

nice wheels, stripes are for vipers, and i've said it before and i'll say it again why bother on a fabia 2 you can't polish a turd:thumbdwn:

Nice constructive reply there, I'm getting really fed-up with all this polished turd nonsense. Why even look in the Fabia 2 forum if you don't like them?

On a positive note; Think the wheels and the strips look great, what about using the colour of the stripes and get the entire roof done.

The best Fabia 2 I've seen.

Its been done for West End in Broxburn, as i said earlier the car isn't quite finished but i think it looks great in the flesh.

i have previously tried covering a roof in vinyl and proved to be somewhat unsuccessful, the garage like the idea of a silver roof but the only real option is painting which would be costly for a demo.

as for the stripes on the doors, i posted this pic a while ago of a white mk2 octy vrs with red stripes along the doors that i created:

this design is to be tailored to suit the fabia, pics will follow once its complete.

the wheels look great on it and the drop really sets it off imo.

I might pop over and catch a look at it in the flesh / metal

I saw it at lunchtime with just the bonnet stripes and it did look like something was missing. Looks great now.

Have ot say I'm not completely sure of the yellow Fa-BEE-a

the yelow one needs the roomy wheels, and lowering. and the stripes at the rear too. :)

i didn't like the new fabia until i seen this blue one, its a top of the range tdi, if it was as quick as the vrs i'd have it.

you have to actually see this car to see how good it looks, the pictures dont really do it justice.
