Canada, for those of you who aren't aware. No Skodas over here, unless you consider the 120 a skoda.. but those are far and few between. I can always hope..

Welcome, and forgive my ignorance, but what's a 120?

Welcome

Hiya. Some of us most certainly do consider the 120 a true Skoda; check the support fora under "Other Skoda Models" for what's happening with all the RWD cars.

The sort of Skoda that featured in all the jokes.

Welcome :)

The sort of Skoda that featured in all the jokes.

Cool car - a sort of latter day Opel Kadett, then.

That's an Estelle Alex, not a 120!

Welcome to briskoda.

I'm Canadian too :)

I'm half-Canadian myself, as I was born here in the UK but then left for Canada before my first birthday. First lived in Calgary where my bro was born, and we then travelled to an area just outside Toronto where I lived for the next 24 years before returning to the motherland 10 years ago. I got my Canadian citizenship before returning (for when the floods come and I need to make a quick escape to dry land) and the accent is still very un-Yorkshire-like, ha-ha. Welcome to the forum, though you were a member before I discovered this place. I remember hearing of Skoda growing up (in various car jokes), but couldn't actually remember if they were ever produced in Canada. But I spoke to my bro about test driving one last weekend and he'd never heard of them. Canada's loss I guess, but maybe one day.
