quiet tyres for vrs

Featured Replies

hello everybody. i know its usually performance tyres we're looking for and its been covered a million times but my bridgestones are very noisey.anybody know of a quiet tyre for the vrs on standard alloys? cheers

Funny you should be asking this question, because I was thinking the exact same thing on the way home this evening.

I've had 4 x Toyos and 4 x Vredestein.

They both grip well, but they both make an ALMIGHTY racket.

I'm having to have the Rammstein on full blast to cover up the tyre roar.

Anything will be quieter than the Bridgestones :D Michelin Primacies are reasonably quiet but are not the grippiest tyres ever made and likewise with the Dunlops I ran on my Fabia. I'm currently running some Falken 452's which are also nice and quiet with bags of grip, but not sure they're available in your fitment.

I've got michelin primacies on mine good for road noise not to good for grip especially in the wet!

Mine are due to be changed wont be getting these again!

Falken 452's are quiet. Another point; I've got them on my Fabia vRS with 17" mk1 Octy alloys and lowered 25mm on Eibachs and the ride quality is excellent. I've no hesitation in recommending them.
