Cruise and M.P.G.

I actually find a better mpg if I use my foot rather than the cruise control. I guess it shouldn't theoretically make any difference if you maintain an exact constant speed, but if I drive without the cruise on my speed will vary slightly (probably pick up slightly downhill and drop off slightly uphill, I will also vary it well ahead of time if there is any additional traffic appearing etc., rather than leave the cruise on until it needs to be changed or turned off).

I generally use cruise a lot though because it's a nice luxury. :)
