Skoda Assistance

Featured Replies

My wife and I now both own Skoda's!!

She bought her Fabia last year and the Skoda assistance is due to run out.

My car didn't come with any but we are considering joint breakdown cover.

Is it worth going for Skoda assistance or just get standard AA/RAC cover?

Is it any cheaper for a joint policy?

Cheers

I imagine joint cover will be cheaper from either the AA / RAC rather than two separate Skoda policies. Also you'll be covered in any vehicle. Why not look at their websites? :)

Just looked on-line and spoke to Skoda direct.

Forgot that the policy is for the car and not the person.

Might actually still be worth the two separate policies though as 1 yr joint RAC/AA is around £160 and two years single with Skoda is £145

So total costs are around £320 for RAC and £290 for Skoda for two years cover.

Also skoda covers you whilst in europe, which is certainly a deal sweetener, well than and the lower price

Hi Michael

I don't know where you are getting your prices from, but a joint membership for me and the wife for "personal" cover is £97.00 for the year with AA !

What exactly do you get for £97?

On-line quotes show £160 for joint cover including Relay, Home start and Stay Mobile.

Hi Again

We get "Roadside Relay" ok we don't get home start, but we do't need that but as I said its personal cover and covers both of us in any vehical.

ps try some others for quotes, and speak to "the man from the AA" and sy you can get it cheaper and they may price match, as the did with me !

Hi,

I have purchased Skoda Assistance awhile ago now but I have just realised I have recieved any sort membership card.

Should I not have one from either Skoda or the RAC (or both) so I can proove I have an active membership?

Or in the event of a breakdown would you simply call the number given on the little sticker Skoda provided and all will be sorted!

Jason

Jason. There's no membership card because 'you're' not the member, the car is instead (and they don't have forwarding addresses ;) ).

Give the number a call and quote your registration plate and the RAC will come to your rescue.
