Clarkson's crystal ball

To put Clarkson's 'predictions' into context, at the time Lambo and Bugatti were both going nowhere. I don't think anyone could have predicted that VW's strategy would involve getting so totally engrossed in making super/hyper cars to the point that they would make huge losses on the Veyron and make a Lambo based on the F22! And especially not given the 'Green' agenda which was starting to rear its ugly head even back then...thinking about it how come with all the Green stuff we have to put up with now that there are so many new sportscars being developed? It seems that if anything the industry is accelerating...
