4 days till i get my VRS remapped at star performance....cannot wait!!!!!!!

Anyone else been mapped by star...whats its like???

Not done by Star but you will have one of these after you drive it

out of curiosity how much roughly is a remap? its certainly something i'd like to get done, but i have visions of it being really expensive.

Another question i have is, are those uprated turbo intake pipes a good mod to add after a remap in place of the standard restricitive one, do they help at all or are they not really worth the bother?

Its all diminishing returns, depends how deep your pockets are.

well after the map i could afford the T.I.P just wondering if it actually does anything of note or if im just aswell sticking with the standard.

actually i have seen these, i bought a forge 007p from him yesterday and it was at my door this morning so if that service is anything to go by, it should be a good exchange.

Problem with modding these cars is, it'll never be enough. Get used to the extra speed in about 2 weeks.

I already want a sport cat and back box... stage 2 remap and some other bits :(

You will be impressed with a remap, but like etos says, it is just the start, you'll want more. Happy motoring in 4 days.

Just takes a bit of will power. If I want more bhp Ill look at other cars, simple.

Are you getting a generic or custom remap ???

Whatever option you have gone for, I'm sure (like me and many others) you will be very happy with the results :D:D and regret not having it done sooner.

I had mine custom remaped just over two weeks ago after more than 4 years ownership, and it has totally transformed the cars performance.

Its not all good news though !!!.... like me, you might find you need better brakes and a suspension upgrade

i think its just a generic map from star, their website states the power will go from 180bhp to 210bhp and i already wanna do that anyway to the brakes and suspension lol
