If you book in South bound, when you leave in the morning come out of the Travel Lodge & turn imediately LEFT passing the no entry & authorised access only sign, after about 150 yards you are at the back gate of the services where you turn right, drive until you cross the A34 (about 300 yards) & then turn imediately right down a little lane, at the end of the lane bear right, past those silly no entry signs again & hey presto you are now in the North bound services, saves a few miles up & down the A34.

Its quite a popular route for us localls, we even go in & out this way to get Optimax & Burger kings for the kids (Opti for the car!)
