Driving home about 11 last night, just pulling off the m25 onto the a3 and...

there's a box of letters sitting in my way, with no where else to go, cars either side... hit the box at about 70mph

fortunately the damage is cosmetic... only the front bumper is messed up thank god

any recommendations on replacement?

Cheers,

Keoghan

I recommend a Supra.

It has a scoop at the front that acts as a hoover. When you stop, things then just drop out of it :)

On the european cannoball run 2003, one chap in a Skyline on a 550 mile stage picked up a cat in some village. It had died of hypothermia long before the fuel stop some 200 miles later, where it fell out with a thud.

Sad I know but secretly you are all smiling :)

box of letters? did you collect anything? maybe you can claim for damages lol doubt it but it might be worth a try. This nearly happened to me on the M25 someone had lost their luggage on the outside lane!! able to miss it though

apparently it was a box of letters... I managed to catch a patrol car which went by me when I was pulled over... only because he'd just nicked someone for speeding :)

might try to find out who it belonged to, possible compensation if it was a parcel companies fault I guess...

glad you missed the luggage in the outside lane !

I am indeed :D.

But funnily enough I passed a Corsa this morning parked on the verge of the A41 and he (or she) had scooped some kind of animal too. Was neatly jammed into the front valence :)

My old Vrs had it's front spoiler "modified" by a badger. Car was quite bent, but the badger walked away!

Tough little bu99ers.....

Badger attacks are more common than u might think.

My Uncle Burt was savaged to death by a badger and two squirrels.

Bash 'em with a shovel...

and a hare ate my cv at brunters...

Hare did he do that ?

A friend of mine hit a wallaby, late one night, AND He went to the Police to report it. Luckily he was passing Whipsnade Zoo at the time, where, apparently, it's not unusual...........

Probably tasted much better than it would have read. ;)

Doin' a job at a volvo  garage 3 or 4 yrs ago. Crowd of techies gathered around this car, giggling. Sauntered over to the commotion, "whats going on"? one of them shuved the job card to me . Strange smell. Check the cat' Investigate screeching noise when starting up.

Seems mrs owners pussy had gone missing too. Cat lovers don't read anymore....................... :thumbdwn: There it was, rock hard u shaped wrapped around the alternator drive belt and pulley. One of the techs suggested ringing the rspca  Apparently they had to destroy the alternator, its bracket and belt to get the grizzly remains out. Also had to tell customer they'd found her cat too,oh and a bill for about 300 snotters

Nice day! C.J.

eeeek !
