Featured Replies

If it was closer I would have had a look at it.

if anybody wants to buy it but cant get to pick it up for a while , i dont live far away, and can keep it at mine for a while . i only live a couple of miles from J4 on the m18 in donny

Rigsby that is a very generous offer :)

I have just looked at the advert again and a few things put me off. 1, Pics taken in the dark? and 2, Jump leads located in front footwell.

Standard equipment on Estelles are those jump leads!

Only kidding.

I havent seen the car, and again live very near the car (nearer than Rigsby!) but dont let the fact the pic has been taken in the dark put you off!

Its not ideal, but email him for daylight pics...he may oblige!

It definitely needs a t-cut/re-spray.

I have emailed him :)

Why do things like this always turn up near Christmas and when you have just sorted a list of Mods for your main car?

It definitely needs a t-cut/re-spray.

Yes - when I had Pinky the Felicia it was amazing what a few hours with the T-cut did.

Probably the most satisfying and rewarding car clean I have ever done!

I did it on my Favorit as previous owner neglected it a bit. And some !*@& threw an egg at it  You have to be careful though as I have made the primer show a little in two places.

I'm not far away either - and it's got POINTS & CARB  I'll 'ave it ;):D

Where are you based?

There's a new pic on there, doesn't look as appealing in the day light unfortunately.

Duct tape and filler everywhere :o

A nicely fillered rusty hole. Nice bit of restoration, I mean bodge.

Ach wheesht!

filler aint a crime (as long as it aint on the load bearing parts!)

And it has some ticket- so you could press it into service if required! also its less than a decent night out on the tiles for you and a mate.

I agree, I will find a project one day soon :)

If it snows it will do for a bit af rear end action, (finar finar)

Ah yes, if I had more time and money to spare it would be a challenge indeed...

She is a good little runner and is taxed & mot'd til March 2008. getting it through next MOT could be tricky, though

*It is fitted with a tow bar & electrics and has a factory fitted sunroof that only leaks when raining.

*There is wiring been put in for a stereo system. so you'll save the cost of a few yards of wiring, ain't that generous!

*Paintwork is dull but i think it just needs a polish or maybe a full repaint

*Little bit of rust on arches. there is 2 holes on n/s & o/s under the windscreen. i have filled one in and hopefully will get the other filled in (weather permitting!!) else a pound jar of Plastic Padding is part of the bargain

*Some of the material is missing on the seats.(could cover up with seat covers) have mounted mousetraps in the booth, though

*Throttle sticks on when cold but frees off after bout 10 mins driving(carb might need cleaning) makes winter driving much more exciting

*there is some oil on engine. Looks like head gasket has gone but it has not gone. Could be there from previous head gasket failure.or maybe some other gasket or tube - no doubt you'll find out in due course

Buy it now price now £150. If it was £50 and I had the money and time to fiddle and sort everything out to my satisfaction I'd be interested.

Those pesky mice got the car too...

It's made itself a new run-off channel.

I've taxed worse:rofl:

Cash the tax disk in in Jan, re-tax it & "forget" about the MOT :P (I'd obviously condone such behaviour!)

I'm all up for saving old Skodas, but that one really does look fit for the scrappers.

looks abit rough, maybe a saver tho

Now sold for £150. Was it anyone on here? Whoever it is doesn't have the best feedback history.
