Hi. Fallen in love with the brand after many years as a VW lover. Bought an Octavia TDI Elegance from Wings of Peterborough in February this year. 1 owner, 22000 miles. Sold and serviced by them from new. Admiral Blue Metallic. Had cold starting problems. Air mass meter and fuel pump(Brand new.) replaced under warranty. All lovely now! I do a 150 mile round trip commute 4 times a week on very light traffic motorways (5-6AM) and this thing is averaging 57mpg!!!!! The computer being slightly more conservative than doing some sums. Being objective, I have to say that it has to be the best car I have owned. Being a bit of a petrolhead, i've had 2 Alfa's ( which, according to Clarkson makes me a true one!) and a lary 2.8 Capri but I have to say that this car tops them all. Build quality is as solid as I am used to with VW.

In addition to the last one, I was given a Fiat Punto hire car while the fuel pump was sorted. Best advert for Skoda there could ever be! What a pile of sh
