Engine light and cold start

Hi, got a 2002 Octavia vrs and the sodding thing for some now time on a morning, struggles to start or dies when it does or kangaro's around but if I remove the key and start the car again it stops? plus the engine light has come on but no other light eg traction control etc.:confused:

Any ideas peeps? before I break it!

Dear Experts , I am trying to analyse the basics checks of AIrbag issue ( will NOT use any multimeter ) so trying to see if all wiring is intact and no loose connection. Can anybody please advice if I am missing anything as I am seeing only just 1 airbag connector under seat rest 2 connectors as mentioned in video is missing even though same bracket exists as shown in video , also please advice I also don't see any extra cable connecting to ground terminal of my fabia mk2 . Any idea wht is th

Hi all, I have just replaced the recirculation flap motor on my 2015 Fabia MK3. I looked all over the web to find any useful instructions and only found some for the Ibiza here which are actually pretty good, but thought I'd add a few additional comments from my own experience. The symptoms were a loud clicking from behind the passenger side dash when the recirculation button was turned on In short it can be done by removing just the glove box although it's a bit fiddly. Hi all, long time reader, first time poster. So my car this evening decided that it would sound the alarm...again....but this time no amount of pressing on the key fob, and the other spare fob, starting and stopping the engine etc...would make it shut up. My plan after a few minutes was to drive the car to the nearest trading estate to try and work out what is going on, and yes the alarm was still going off whilst I was driving the car!!
