King Repmobile

Featured Replies

As sure as the Sun comes up,it was always two cars looking after the Reps.Mondeo or Vectra (or cavalier)

Are they painting all the Vectras in invisible paint now? Either I just don't notice Vectras on the road or there aren't any and Ford wins the 20 year battle.

Mind you,new Mondeo looks rather nice.Presume Vauxhall decided the money is in people carriers and Corsas with bike Racks:)

The 3-series now sells more than either of them...thus making it the new King Repmobile... :)

Rob.

I hope the Vectra is summarily executed

Lot of Vectras here. Very few New Mondeos.

Lots of 3 series and A4s.

I hope the Vectra is summarily executed

It is isn't it? Aren't they calling the new one summat else?

"The Vectra is absolute rubbish and Vauxhall dealers are complete idiots."

Discuss what? I think you've already finished the essay!

I must agree, in my experience Vauxhall dealers are complete rubbish!

You got that right!

I've never felt understeer so bad as from a new Vectra... and don't forget I drive a Fabia vRS ;)

Says it all. The only Vectra I ever drove was like a sensory deprivation chamber in terms of telling what the wheels were up to.

I once knew a V@*xh@ll "vehicle technician" who replaced an entire HT system, when I diagnosed the fault as being a failed condensor (Kettering arc system) from a verbal description of how the car was running.

Yup I had a new diesel SRI vectra for a week as a hire car last year. That car understeered so much I was scared of doing more than 10 mph round any corner
